AI Ticket Bot vs Helper.gg: Which Ticket Bot Fits Your Discord?
Helper.gg runs Discord tickets from a web panel with staff sub accounts. AI Ticket Bot answers them first. An honest side by side, July 2026.

What is the actual difference between AI Ticket Bot and Helper.gg?
Helper.gg calls itself the first panel based Discord ticket bot, and that is a fair description of where its design effort went. Tickets open as Discord channels, but the centre of gravity is the web panel. Staff read and answer there, permissions are configured there, and the site lists unlimited staff sub accounts with their own permissions.
AI Ticket Bot puts the same ticket in the same kind of Discord channel and then does something different with it. Before a staff member sees it, a per server AI brain reads the conversation and tries to answer. Staff get pulled in when the AI decides a person is needed, or when they choose to step in themselves.
AI Ticket Bot
- Per server AI brain answers first
- Staff reply in Discord or from the dashboard
- Panel access needs a Discord sign in
- Slash commands
- Escalation pings one wired role when the AI hands off
- Transcript retention stated: 90 or 730 days
Helper.gg
- AI Replies listed on the pricing page, not described on the features page
- Staff reply in Discord or from the panel
- Unlimited staff sub accounts with their own permissions
- Published command list uses a message prefix, which you can change
- A role can be pinged when a ticket is created
- No retention period stated
Neither of those is a criticism. A support team made of moderators who live in Discord and a support team made of agents who live in a browser want different tools.
How do the two free plans compare?
Helper.gg's free plan is the more generous one for plain ticketing, and it is worth being direct about that rather than burying it.
| AI Ticket Bot Free | Helper.gg Free | |
|---|---|---|
| Open tickets | 1 per member per panel | Unlimited |
| Ticket structure | 1 panel, 5 categories | Multiple TicketTag departments |
| Staff roles | 3 | 3 support roles |
| Panel logins | Discord sign in only | Unlimited staff sub accounts |
| Replies from the web | Yes | Yes |
| Transcripts | Public link, kept 90 days | Public link from the transcript command |
| AI inside the ticket | Yes, inside a daily token budget | AI Replies, with an asterisk we could not resolve |
| Branding | Powered by footer | Branding removed on Premium |
If you want many departments and many open tickets without paying anything, Helper.gg's free tier does more. Our free tier exists for a narrower reason: to let you watch the AI handle real tickets in your own server before deciding it is worth money.
The single-panel limit above has one qualification worth reading, because it is the row people stop at. Publishing that first panel starts 14 days of Premium, automatically, with no payment method at any point. For that fortnight the comparison is five panels and ten categories rather than one and five, and it ends by itself with nothing deleted rather than asking for a card. One per server, permanently.
What does each one cost?
Published prices, July 2026
- Helper.gg Free
- $0
- Helper.gg Premium
- $4.90 per month, per server
- Helper.gg Supreme
- $3.90 per month, on top of Premium
- AI Ticket Bot Free
- €0
- AI Ticket Bot Premium
- €9.99 per month, or €95.90 per year
- AI Ticket Bot Pro
- €29.99 per month, or €287.90 per year
Helper.gg is cheaper, and the two currencies are not close enough for that to be arguable. What you get for our higher price is one plan rather than a stack: Premium includes the AI budget, whitelabel, working hours, smart inactivity, modal forms at ticket open, the public FAQ channel, outgoing webhooks and analytics together.
The one place the shape genuinely differs is whitelabel, and their version is the deeper one. Helper.gg sells it as Supreme: a custom bot application, with your own bot username, icon and playing status. Ours is included in Premium but is narrower on purpose. We use Discord's per server bot profile, so the nickname, avatar, banner and bio change in your server only, and the bot is still AI Ticket Bot in DMs and in every other server it is in. The upside is that you never hand over a bot token or maintain your own Discord application. The downside is real, and it is theirs to claim: if you want the bot to look like yours everywhere, Helper.gg goes further than we do.
Where Helper.gg is the better choice
Good fit
- You want to hand support agents a panel login with its own permissions
- You want a lot of ticket departments without paying
- Budget is the deciding factor and $4.90 per month is the ceiling
- You want your own bot application, with your username and icon everywhere
Not the right call
- It will not answer a ticket for you the way a trained AI brain does
- The AI Replies line on their pricing page is not documented anywhere we could find
The staff sub account point is the one we cannot match, so we will not talk around it. Our dashboard has no equivalent: everyone who opens it signs in with Discord and has to already have access to your server, because every action is re-checked against Discord's own permissions. Their site does not spell out whether a sub account needs its own Discord login, so we are not going to claim it does not. The concept is simply one we do not offer.
Where AI Ticket Bot is the better choice
Good fit
- The same questions arrive every week and staff time is the real constraint
- You want a ticket answered at three in the morning, not queued until someone wakes up
- You need a stated retention period to answer a question about ticket data
- You want per server knowledge your staff can correct, not a shared FAQ
Not the right call
- Not the cheaper option
- Not the better free plan if plain ticketing is all you need
- No email, SMS or phone channel, so this is not a full helpdesk
What does the AI actually do inside a ticket?
This is the part that decides whether the price difference matters, so it is worth being concrete instead of saying the words AI powered again.
my perks never showed up after i bought the supporter role

Supporter perks are applied in #shop within a few minutes of purchase. If it has been longer than that, tell me roughly when you bought it and I will bring in the team.
like 3 hours ago

That is well past the normal window. Bringing in staff now, with what you have told me.
Maya here, checking your purchase.
The second line is not a canned reply and not a generic guess from a model. It came from something a staff member taught that server's brain, either with the /ai train command in Discord or in the dashboard's Train mode, and it applies to that server only. No other server sees it.
From there the AI can read a channel the member is already allowed to see when they reference one, check the member's roles when permission level matters, and close a ticket only after the member has explicitly confirmed in an earlier turn. When it hands off, it picks a priority and writes a short summary, then pings exactly one role that you wired. It never mentions everyone, and it never invents a staff role to ping.
About half of more than 180,000 tickets across the bot's lifetime closed without a human replying at all. Replies land in seconds.
What happens to a ticket after it closes?
Both bots keep a transcript once the Discord channel is gone, and both give you a public link to it. What differs is what each one states about how long that transcript lives.
Helper.gg's free plan includes complete ticket logging and a transcript command that returns a publicly accessible link. Premium adds HTML and JSON copies sent to an email address, posted into a channel, or delivered to the ticket creator in a DM, and Supreme lets you serve the transcript panel from your own URL. Their site does not state a retention period anywhere we looked.
Ours is a public link, kept 90 days on Free and 730 days on every paid plan, with a daily job that removes the body once the window closes. Everything tied to a server is purged 48 hours after the bot is removed from it.
Neither approach is automatically the better one. If you want HTML and JSON copies mailed to an address, Helper.gg's Premium does that and we do not. We post the link into your log channel, fire it on an outgoing webhook on paid plans, and DM it to the person who opened the ticket. If somebody asks you how long ticket contents are held, though, we have an answer with a number in it.
Do you have to choose between them?
No, and this is probably the first thing a server already running Helper.gg should try.
Keep the bot you have
Helper.gg carries on opening and closing tickets exactly as it does now.
Add ours alongside it
One invite. It needs View Audit Log so it can tell which bot opened a channel.
Connect it
Run /ticket connect, or use Settings, then Connected bots, on the dashboard. Up to ten bots per server.
Watch one real ticket
Our AI answers inside their ticket channel, using your server's brain.
How we compared these two bots
How we measured this
- Helper.gg source
- Their own homepage, features page and pricing page, read on 31 July 2026
- Our source
- Our live stats endpoint and our published plan catalog
- Sample
- 182,381 tickets, V1 and V2 combined, lifetime to 31 July 2026
- Definition
- AI resolved means the ticket closed with no staff message in it
- Not tested
- Helper.gg's paid plans, and their AI Replies feature
Everything on Helper.gg's side of the tables above comes from pages Helper.gg publishes itself. We did not use a review site, a directory listing or somebody else's roundup, because those go stale quietly and we would have no way to tell you when.
Two things we deliberately refused to guess at. Their pricing page lists AI Replies on the free plan with an asterisk and no footnote, while their features page, which is the detailed one, does not mention AI at all. We do not know what that asterisk covers, so we have not claimed their AI is weak, only that we could not find it described. And their site states no transcript retention period, which may well mean transcripts are kept indefinitely rather than briefly.
One more figure belongs here rather than buried, because it cuts against us. Helper.gg's homepage states 12.7k servers. Ours is a little over 3,300. They are running on more servers than we are, and any comparison that left that out would not be worth reading.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Helper.gg publishes a free plan with unlimited tickets, replies from its web panel, three support roles and complete ticket logging. Premium is $4.90 a month per server, and the Supreme whitelabel tier is a further $3.90 on top of Premium. Those are the prices listed on their own pricing page in July 2026.
Their pricing page lists AI Replies on the free plan with an asterisk, and their homepage mentions artificial intelligence. Their detailed features page does not describe it at all, so we cannot tell you what it does or how it compares. Ours is documented and testable on our own free plan.
Yes. The /ticket connect command points our AI at the ticket channels another bot opens, on every plan including Free. External tickets get answered but nothing is stored on our side, and opening and closing stay with the other bot.
For plain ticketing, Helper.gg. Unlimited tickets and multiple departments beat our single panel and five categories. For AI, ours, because the per server brain runs on the free plan inside a daily token budget.
Yes. The dashboard has a full ticket view with a compose box, saved quick replies and an optional anonymous reply. Both products let staff answer from a browser. The difference is that our panel requires a Discord sign in and real access to the server, while Helper.gg also offers staff sub accounts with their own permissions.
Ours are kept 90 days on Free and 730 days on every paid plan, at a public link. Helper.gg does not state a retention period anywhere on its site, which may mean transcripts are kept indefinitely rather than briefly. Ask them before assuming either way.
It’s not just an AI, it’s your AI.
See it on your own server.
Add the bot free, teach it a few of your most common answers, and watch it clear the repeat tickets on its own.
Free plan, no card. Your first panel starts 14 days of Premium.
