AI Ticket Bot v2.5: fewer commands, better ticket panels
AI Ticket Bot v2.5: 30 slash commands become 9 menu commands, ticket panels get a full redesign with Components v2, and staff permissions go from 5 to 14.

AI Ticket Bot v2.5 is mostly a cleanup release: this Discord ticket bot had far too many slash commands. Thirty of them are gone, replaced by nine that open a menu instead of making you remember which subcommand does what. Ticket panels got a full redesign on top of that, and staff permissions went from 5 to 14. Everything here is live on every plan, including the free tier.
What you need to do
Nothing to reinstall and nothing to migrate. Discord refreshes the command list on its own, so the new commands appear in your server automatically and your panels, tickets and settings carry over untouched.
Two things are worth a minute of your time:
- The old commands are gone. If you have pinned messages, staff guides or notes pointing at things like
/panel createor/ticket add, update them to the new commands below. - Check your staff permissions. The permission system grew from 5 permissions to 14, so run
/staff rolesand give your team's roles a quick pass.
Thirty commands became nine
Anything that used to be split across a pile of subcommands now opens a menu you click through:
/panelreplaces six commands. It lists your panels with create, edit, publish, unpublish and delete inside it. Creating one is a channel picker and a button now: everything else is prefilled and you can change it later./staff rolesreplaces four commands and opens the new permission menu./blacklistreplaces four commands. One picker blocks a user or a whole role, you choose how long from a list, and you unblock straight from the line instead of copying an entry ID./ai channelreplaces three commands and sets up your AI FAQ channel in one place./ticket inactivityreplaces three commands. It shows the current timer and pauses or resumes it from the same screen./qr useand/qr managereplace five commands: one for sending a quick reply, one for everything else./ticket peoplereplaces/ticket addand/ticket remove. It shows everyone in the ticket, with a picker to add someone and a remove button on each person./ticket aireplaces the enable and disable pair, and it now tells you why the AI stopped answering instead of leaving you guessing./subscription manageis gone./subscription infoalready had the same buttons, and servers paying with crypto get a Renew button there now.
Two more commands stopped being typing exercises. /language opens a menu showing your current language and every supported language with its flag, instead of typing to search. /whitelabel opens a menu where the nickname, picture, banner and about text each get their own edit button, so you can see what is actually set. If you are not on Premium yet, there is an upgrade button right there.
Ticket panels got the biggest upgrade
Both /panel and the panels page in the dashboard were redesigned, and you can now edit every element of a panel embed on every plan. Editing the whole embed used to be out of reach on the free plan. It is not anymore.
The bigger change is Components v2 support. Under the old message format a panel was basically one embed: a title, a description, a field or two, and buttons stuck underneath. Components v2 is Discord's newer layout system, and it lets a panel be built out of pieces instead. Text blocks, separators, images and buttons sit where you put them, inside a container with its own accent color. It is the difference between a panel that looks like a bot posted it and a panel that looks like part of your server.
Your existing panels keep working exactly as they are. Components v2 is there when you want to build something better.
A permission system that fits a real team
Five permissions was never enough to describe how a support team actually works. There are 14 now, so you can hand someone one part of the job without handing them the rest. They live in /staff roles.
Fixes
- Forwarded messages inside a ticket now save correctly in the transcript.
- Opening a ticket works when a Discord username contains a word your server blocks. Ticket channels are named after the user, so a blocked word used to stop the channel from being created at all.
- The dashboard is noticeably faster.
Update now
This rolls out automatically. The only thing worth doing by hand is that pass over your staff roles.
If you missed it, the previous update redesigned the site and the dashboard and added a docs page.
It’s not just an AI, it’s your AI.
On the new version the moment it ships.
Add the bot free. Releases roll out to every server at once, so there is never a re-invite or a migration step on your side.
Free plan, no card. Your first panel starts 14 days of Premium.
